Volunteering or Meditation

 Do you like to work with garden and children? If yes, you can email to us. We prefer ladies.

Do you like to spend your time meditating and reading Dhamma books, If yes, please read the below requirements.


Below are the requirements for volunteers:

1. Fit to help in cleaning, weeding, carrying water pails, etc.

2. Speak good English and has computer knowledge

3. Able to teach children English, computer and arts.

4. Patience

5. Willing to follow Buddhist rules

 a. Not killing or injuring any beings

b. Not stealing

c. Not sexual activity

d. Not telling lies, harsh speech, etc.

e. No intoxicant like alcohol, cigarette, etc.

6. Wear decent - t-shirt with sleeves, long skirt/pant, 

7. Do not sleep naked, or walk around in panties, even in your resting place/room.


Below are the requirements for meditators:

1. Willing to follow Buddhist rules

 a. Not killing or injuring any beings

b. Not stealing

c. Not sexual activity

d. Not telling lies, harsh speech, etc.

e. No intoxicant like alcohol, cigarette, etc.

2. Wear decent - t-shirt with sleeves, long skirt/pant. We will provide white t-shirt and suitable pants.

3. Do not sleep naked, or walk around in panties, even in your resting place/room. 

4. Do not disturb other meditators and nuns. 

5. Be able to avoid sensual pleasure like  singing, listening to music, dancing, etc.

6. Should try to observe fasting after meal. We will provide juice at the evening time.

7. Willing to donate some amount to cover food, accomodation and electricity.  Please note that this is not compulsory but we hope persons staying with us will understand that we also have to pay for electricity and food everyday.

Saddanīti – Introduction There are three volumes in Saddanīti 1. padamālā – explains the inflection – conjugation, declension 2.Dhātumālā- explains roots 3.Suttamālā –explains sandhi, nāma. Saddanīti is more complete and more modernize than other grammar books like Kaccāyana, padarūpasidhi.  Some words that are not explained in these books are explained in the Saddanīti. Each books has 2 volumes, one volume has about 400 pages. So, there are more than 2500 pages. This book is written by Aggavaṃsa. In some records like Sāsāna Laṅkāra said that Agga Paṇḍita had written the books. At that time, there were three persons well-known in the knowledge in the Tipiṭaka. 1. Mahā Aggapaṇḍita, 2) Aggapaṇḍita  3) Aggapaṇḍita. The third one was the nephew to the second one and he was the one that had written the book. Online Pali course and certificate.

 Aggācāra International College will offer Basic Pāḷi course and Diploma  in Pāḷi for the year 2023 and 2024. This course is taught by Sayagyi Cāḷā Therī, a Malaysian nun, the founder of Aggācāra International College, and a PhD (thesis) student of International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University. Basic Pāḷi course 1. Grammar and sentence translation based on Pāḷi Made Easy's lessons.  2. Word analysis such as prefix, root, suffix based on Pāḷi Made Easy and other books. 3.
