Pali course in English based on Anguttara Nikaya

This course has been running for six months. It is for those who knows some Pali grammar and would like to read Tipitaka by themself. The Pali text is extracted from Anguttara Nikaya-Dukanipata. The students also learn from its corresponding translation by Bhikkhu Bodhi. It is taught by Sayagyi Cala Theri. You can follow the lesson from our videos in the youtube. The chief nuns, teachers, students and devotees of Aggacara ctr were very happy to donate to 500+ venerable monks and sayalays on 9 Oct 2022 in conjunction with Lighting Festival.

As a part of Website design coursework for the computer students, the students are required to work together to build a website for the Aggacara Institute. This aggacaraburmese.blogspot.com is the work of our students. We are happy that they have learning and will learning to make a better website.

Sitting meditation

 How to do sitting meditation? You can sit quietly noting your breathing or abdomen rising and falling. If you need more motivation to sit longer, a cat can help you to sit quietly by sitting on your lap.

 Thanks to donors from America, the workers have successfully installed steel railings for our education building.  This place is our Aggacara International Institute where we holds all education activities. The above photo is the highest floor at this building.

 The adults and children learn four skills. 1) speaking, 2) listening, 3) writing and reading.  We teach English grammar, Dhamma stories and role-playing so that they can get more knowledge in English.
