1. Jan 11th - 15th, Mogok meditation in English, by Sayadaw Dr. Osabha, at Thabarwa meditation centre, Than Lyin (one hour from Yangon). He attended an intensive teacher course at Mogok headquarter and is recognised as one of the Mogok meditation teacher.
All are welcome! Food and accommodation are provided freely.

2. Jan 16th -22th, Applying Pali and Abhidhamma into Vipassana Practice -Part 1, by Sayalay Cala Theri at Thabarwa meditation centre, Than Lyin (one hour from Yangon). She is now attending master third year in ITBM University. For 6 years, she was translator and assistant to Sayadaw Dr. Sunanda at Buddhist Hermitage Lunas, a Mahasi Branch in Malaysia.

Learning Dhamma and applying Dhamma (Pariyatti and Patipatti) in English for 6 days.
The purpose was to learn Pali, Abhidhamma and Vipassana and apply them in the meditation session. We, the teachers focused on practical and experiential learning style. The students had to learn to be independent to do own homework, did a class presentation and had analytically discussion. Each class lasted for one and half hour.

There was Dhamma discussion and practical sitting and walking meditation.
